Praia do Moçambique
A Praia do Moçambique está localizada entre o Leste e o Norte da Ilha, no Bairro do Rio Vermelho. Com seus 13 km de extensão é a maior praia da Ilha. A Praia do “Moçamba” como é conhecida pelos surfistas, é uma praia ainda selvagem, com dunas, areias grossas e ondas fortes, ideal para a prática do surf e para quem procura uma praia pouco movimentada e contato com a natureza.
A praia se localiza dentro do Parque Estadual Florestal do Rio Vermelho, aonde se localiza um parque aberto para visitação do público, com exposição da flora e fauna local. O acesso á Praia do Moçambique é feito por estradas de terra, quase não há infraestrutura, sendo interessante levar água e alimentos consigo.
Enfim, a praia indicada para os aventureiros que buscam natureza, paz, privacidade e boas ondas.
